NXLED took down Choco Mucho, 25-20, 26-28, 27-25, 25-22, in the PVL on Tour on Sunday at the Batangas City Sports Center.
The Chameleons claimed another huge scalp less than 24 hours since stunning PVL champion Petro Gazz in five sets.

After posting back-to-back wins for the first time since joining the league in 2022, Nxled joined Creamline as the two lone unbeaten teams after the first two stops of the preseason tournament.
Rookie spiker Lyann de Guzman had the Nxled offense on lock in just her second PVL game by breaching the 20-point plateau.
This time, she posted 24 points, 12 receptions and nine digs, capped by the game-winning service ace.
"Excited ako sa team na ’to. Nakikita ko talaga ’yung potential. Alam kong aabot kami sa Final Four sa tournament na ’to,” a confident de Guzman said.
Also in double figures were Chiara Permentilla with a 19-point, 19-reception double-double and Nxled newcomer Jov Fernandez who pitched in 14 markers.

The former Ateneo captain and No. 4 overall draft pick did the heavy lifting right off the bat. She scored seven points in the first set alone.
Nxled failed to keep its momentum in the second set where it blew two set points.
Choco Mucho captain Des Cheng’s power hit and EJ Laure-Carino’s attack fault drew the purple shirts level at one set apiece.
Another extended set unraveled in the third frame, but Permentilla and de Guzman delivered the one-two punch with back-to-back attacks to deny another Choco Mucho comeback attempt.
By holding fort in a nip-and-tuck Set 4, the Chameleons were able to secure their 13th franchise win in 45 matches over a three-year period in the pVL.
Nxled will shoot for a third straight win in two weeks’ time against Galeries Tower on July 15, 4 p.m. at the Playtime Filoil Centre.
Flying Titans' wings clipped
Isa Molde was Choco Mucho's top scorer again, albeit in a loss this time, with 16 points, 13 receptions and nine digs.
Middle blocker Aduke Ogunsanya had her best game yet after over a year-long injury layoff with 10 points on seven attacks and three blocks.
Veterans Royse Tubino and Mean Mendrez had nine apiece and were backed by rookies Jen Villegas and Ayesha Juegos with seven and six points, respectively.
Choco Mucho's return to action will be in Ilagan City, Isabela against Farm Fresh (July 12) and PLDT (July 13).
