Czarina Carandang, Pauline Gaston and EJ Laure chipped in seven markers each.
“Tulad ng sinasabi ko sa mga teammates ko lagi, hindi naman lahat ng puntos nakukuha sa spike, so kung kailangan magdagdag sa skills like blocks and service ace, malaking tulong na din yun sa teammates ko,” said Paat.

Chery Tiggo head coach Aaron Velez was pleased to get the chance to field each team member.
“Masayang masaya kami sa linaro ng players. Definitely there’s still a lot of things that we need to improve on, kailangan na mabilis yung start namin. So I think that’s one thing that we need to pick up.
“I like the fact that everyone was able to step inside the court kasi kailangan pa namin i-work out yung chemistry namin in preparation for our next match.”
The Crossovers will get a five-day layoff before returning to the court and attempt to solidify their top two status in Pool A as they play PLDT on July 18.
Former UP standout Alyssa Bertolano led the Defenders with 15 points on 12 attacks and two blocks and one ace. Winless in two matches, the Defenders take on Cignal High Speed Hitters on Saturday.
