MOTOLITE hopes to get an instant boost from new import Krystle Esdelle of Trinidad and Tobago as they battle BanKo on Wednesday in the PVL Reinforced Conference at the Arena in San Juan.
Esdelle arrived from Turkey on Wednesday morning and practiced with the team at 1 p.m. She was hired to replace Edina Selimovic, who bruised her kneecap in the match against Pacifictown-Army.
“Seven days is already the end of the first round. Last match on Sunday, if she was there, we have a chance of winning that game,” said Motolite Assistant coach Godfrey Okumu. “We can't lose five games already. Five games is the end of the first round.”
Esdelle joins Channon Thompson and locals Isa Molde, Tots Carlos, Eli Soyud, Fhen Emnas and Thang Ponce.
Selimovic was also replaced after only two matches with Pocari Sweat in 2017 after sustaining a hamstring injury. Lance Agcaoili
