TWO weeks since her first PVL title, Savi Davison can win another one with PLDT on Sunday.
From a physical standpoint, Davison and the High Speed Hitters have been worn out by a hectic two-month preseason and Invitational stretch where they played in five cities around the country.
Tiring as it might be, now isn’t the time for the Fil-Canadian ace to raise the white flag and surrender just yet with a golden opportunity to be crowned champion twice - in a span of a week at that.

“I think it speaks more than words going into a tournament and having to play back-to-back games every other day, especially for the other teams that aren’t performing as well,” Davison said.
“We take it seriously […] going into the Finals that we want to take whatever lessons learned, take out whatever opportunities they give us, the opponents and maximize whatever potential we have there.”
Davison insinuated that her body isn’t exactly where she wants it to be after weeks of dealing with fatigue and a continuous string of matches.
Her mind, however, remains tireless and battle-ready just as she’s been since joining the High Speed Hitters two years ago.
“I don't wanna put a number to it, but mentally, I'm there. If I speak it out into the world, then it becomes true, so mind over matter," she said.
“Come the day of the finals, I'm gonna be physically prepared and mentally prepared, especially with the help and support of our team.
“Every individual is kind of in charge and responsible for their own, so the best I could do is just be ready myself.”

Is there still pressure for Davison to deliver another title-winning performance on Sunday?
The answer for her is a straight yes, and she’s more than up for that challenge all over again.
“I love the pressure,” Davison asserted.
“I’m looking forward to the day in general, having practiced in the morning and going to the game, trying to end it with a ban and trying to show everybody that we can do it again,” she added.
