COLLEGE of St. Benilde defeated University of Perpetual Help, 25-11, 25-22, 25-18, on Saturday to stay in the hunt of the last semifinal berth in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan.
Marites Pablo led the way for the Lady Blazers with 13 points, while Klarisa Abriam and Jan Dagul each had nine markers.
CSB improved to 3-4 for sixth spot behind University of the Philippines (3-3).
The Lady Blazers dominated on attacks, 40-27, and service aces, 7-2. CSB also had six blocks while the Lady Altas were zero on net defense in the one hour and 10-minute match.
Dana Persa scored eight points for also-ran Perpetual Help.
