MARS Alba has parted ways with Choco Mucho after over a year with the club.
Speculations on her departure first swirled following the Flying Titans’ move to draft Fil-American setter Tia Andaya.
At the time, it meant that Choco Mucho would have four setters in Alba, Andaya, Deanna Wong and Jem Ferrer.

Alba was also notably absent from the Rebisco teams’ partnership signing event with Allianz PNB Life just before the PVL on Tour went underway.
Wong, Ferrer and even Alba’s national team cohort Andaya were present.
The Flying Titans began its preseason run with only Wong and Ferrer as their setters.
Andaya and Alba are both in Vietnam with Alas Pilipinas for the 2025 VTV Cup.

As such, what was once assumed to be a mere national team-related absence has now ended in an eventual club exit for Alba.
The former La Salle setter and UAAP Season 85 finals MVP won silver with Choco Mucho in her first conference with the team.
Her final act as a Flying Titan was orchestrating a top four finish in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
