WITH Creamline having so far parted ways with more players than it has brought in, has the first new face of its offseason rebuild finally emerged?
An Instagram story shared by Cool Smashers veteran Michele Gumabao on Friday, meant to highlight the return of newly-minted Southeast Asian Games beach volleyball gold medalists Bernadeth Pons and Dij Rodriguez to team training, may have inadvertently dropped a major hint.

Lurking in the background was a strikingly familiar figure in Alas Pilipinas and former Chery Tiggo libero Jen Nierva, who was spotted wearing a pink team shirt at Creamline’s training facility in Mandaluyong.
In recent years, Gumabao has developed a quirky reputation for what fans jokingly call 'pre-emptive unboxings' of new signings.
Several Creamline acquisitions have previously been first revealed through her Instagram stories, including 2024 champion import Erica Staunton and now-retired veteran setter Rhea Dimaculangan-Villarete.

Shortly after, Cool Smashers libero Aleiah Torres was quick to cut to the chase by doing a social media trend with Nierva herself and an explicit caption welcoming her to the team.

"Happy unboxing, ate [Jen Nierva]. Welcome to CCS [Creamline Cool Smashers]," Torres wrote.
