LAMS Lamina's first PVL victory will also be her last appearance in the preseason tour for now.
Fresh off helping Galeries Tower notch a four-set win over Farm Fresh on Saturday, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2026 PVL Rookie Draft is set to leave the Highrisers in the meantime and join the Alas Pilipinas Women training pool beginning Monday.

The move means Lamina will forego the remainder of the PVL on Tour as she shifts her focus to national team preparations, in line with the league's policy prohibiting national team commitments from overlapping with participation in the preseason tournament.
Lamina made the most of what turned out to be her lone outing in the tour, coming off the bench to deliver seven excellent sets while helping steady Galeries Tower to its breakthrough win.
The development was shared by Galeries Tower and National University strength and conditioning coach Kim Bejo through social media shortly after the match.
“First and last game for Lamina today before she joins the national team on loan starting Monday,” Bejo wrote.
Her former NU teammate and Alas Pilipinas stalwart Bella Belen also welcomed the young playmaker back to national team duty.
“Congrats and see [you] on Monday,” Belen posted.
Lamina's inclusion further bolsters the setter corps of Alas Pilipinas Women as preparations ramp up for a busy international calendar highlighted by the Southeast Asian V. Cup and the Asian Games later this year.
The former NU star joins national team captain Jia de Guzman and Akari playmaker Mars Alba in the current setter pool as the Nationals continue building chemistry ahead of back-to-back international campaigns.
For Lamina, the national team call-up comes shortly after kickstarting her pro career with the Highrisers, marking another milestone in what has already been a promising start to life in the PVL.
