KIANNA Dy is starting to look like ‘Point City’ again.
Now in her second full year since returning from a 559-day layoff due to a right knee injury, the 30-year-old winger is setting her sights on bigger things after finally breaking through with her first two pro titles in last year’s PVL on Tour and Reinforced Conference.
This time around, Dy is chasing more than just team success. A full-blown return to form is at the top of her list.

She delivered just that on Thursday, firing 19 points on an efficient 50 percent attack clip to power PLDT past Farm Fresh in four sets and punch their ticket to the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference semifinals.
On a roster bannered by former league MVP Savi Davison, Dy still managed to take charge, emerging as the High Speed Hitters’ most reliable option and swinging the momentum in their favor when it mattered most.
For Dy, it all traces back to the work she put in during a packed offseason when recurring fitness setbacks held her back from the game for almost two full years.

More than just being part of another title run, she wanted to make sure she wants to raise her
“I guess it’s just better [preparation] this time,” Dy told SPIN.ph. “I feel like I prepared more for this competition. My [physical state from my] injury is better and so far, wala pang setback so that’s good.
“‘Yung trust na binibigay sa akin ng coaches and teammates, that helps me to produce sa loob ng court and just to do my job.”
Back in one direction
After months of being slowed down by injuries, Dy is now focused on one direction: up.
“It's great to be back because matagal rin akong na-injure and matagal akong nawala inside the court,” she said.
“There's always a lot of room to improve, so it's nowhere to go but up.”
