KIANNA Dy got her All-Star wish.
The PLDT winger earned a starting nod for Team Hustle, completing a late surge in the fan voting to snatch the top opposite hitter spot.

Dy had trailed Creamline’s Tots Carlos in the first three vote returns, only to flip the race at the finish and secure the starting role.
Shortly after the first vote returns in late March, KKD was already thrilled at the possibility of making the All-Star game, a prospect set to finally happen on May 1 in Candon City.
“It’s an honor to be part of the All-Star game. If I get chosen, that would be fun,” Dy told SPIN.ph.
Asked about her dream teammates, Dy could not help but bring up a familiar name.
“Si Ate Kim [Fajardo]. Sila na naman,” she said with a laugh.
Still, she also looked forward to sharing the court with new faces.
“Sina [Bernadeth] Pons, I’ve never been her teammate. Si Brooke [Van Sickle], I’ve never been her teammate,” Dy said.
“’Yung mga nasa pool ko, very exciting kasi I’ve never been teammates with them and it’s going to be great to be in a new environment with other players.”
That wish came true as Dy will team up with the likes of Bernadeth Pons, Eya Laure, and Fifi Sharma, along with fellow PLDT standouts Kim Fajardo, Mika Reyes and Kath Arado for Team Hustle.
