THERE could still be one more twist for PLDT in what is shaping up to be a photo finish in the race to the Final Four of the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

After over half a year out with a knee injury, Kianna Dy acknowledged the possibility of making a late-conference debut for the semis-seeking High Speed Hitters if the latter stages of her recovery 'goes as planned.'

"As long as everything goes as planned, I will play this conference," said Dy through the team's social media pages.

Whether her forthcoming gametime will be limited or extended all boils down to the physical progress she'll make in the coming weeks. Dy also shared that she has began easing back to training with PLDT and is expected to take on more drills to be in the best form possible for her PVL comeback.

"The extent of playing will depend on how well I progress. I just returned to ball training last Holy Week and papunta na sa spiking drills soon. Basta tuloy-tuloy lang ang progress ng recovery," Dy said.

As it stands, PLDT sits in fourth place at 6-1 (win-loss) with a game at hand over league leaders Choco Mucho (7-1), Petro Gazz (6-2) and defending champion Creamline (6-2).

After taking on winless newcomer Strong Group Athletics on Tuesday, the High Speed Hitters will enter a key three-game home stretch to the eliminations against title-contending sides in Chery Tiggo (April 16), Cignal (April 20) and Creamline (April 25).
