ROUGHLY an hour before Cignal's bombshell announcement of signing former F2 Logistics ace libero Dawn Macandili-Catindig to a three-year deal, one of the club's mainstays in Jheck Dionela sent out a cryptic post on X.
LOOK:
"Kaya pala," Dionela wrote on Friday noon.
With Macandili's arrival, HD Spikers head coach Shaq Delos Santos now has four liberos at his disposal, the others being Bia General, Angela Nunag and of course Dionela.

Whether the former Cargo Mover's addition will prompt an exit or two from the club's existing pool of liberos remains uncertain as of posting.

At 4-foot-11, the 32-year-old three-peat champ with Perpetual in the NCAA (Seasons 85 to 87) stood tall with Cignal throughout its decade-long run to date, in which she has one championship, four runner-up finishes, and seven bronze medals across the now-defunct Philippine Superliga and the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
Dionela's 58-match streak in the PVL, giving her the title of 'Iron Lady,' came to an end back in July during the 2023 Invitational Conference due to an ankle sprain.
She was then fielded sparingly in the succeeding season-ending All-Filipino Conference with Bia General taking over lead libero duties in Cignal's bronze medal campaign.
