FAR Eastern University forced a decider in the Premier Volleyball League semifinal showdown with University of Santo Tomas, scoring a 22-25, 25-13, 25-14, 25-20 win in the second match of the best-of-three series on Saturday at The Arena in San Juan.
The third match is on Sunday.
Celine Domingo led the Lady Tamaraws with 19 points, Jerrili Malabanan added 17, skipper Kyle Negrito had 12 points and rookie Lycha Ebon chipped in 10.
“’Yung execution namin ng game plan namin, na-execute namin ng maayos,” said FEU coach George Pascua, whose team came from a Game One loss to UST.
“‘Yung common error sa service, ‘yun ang tinrabaho namin bago kami lumaban,” he added. “Kung ano ang error na tinalo kami, doon kami nag-focus sa training, ‘yun na ang minaster namin.”
Milena Alessandrini made 13 points and 13 excellent receptions for UST.
