VETERAN setter Jem Ferrer has moved on from Choco Mucho after five years with the team.
The 34-year-old playmaker leaves a team that she helped guide to some of its biggest achievements in the PVL so far.

Among the highlights of Ferrer’s stint were Choco Mucho’s twin silver-medal finishes, which remain the Flying Titans’ lone podium placements in the league to date.
She was also part of the team that captured bronze at the 2023 VTV International Women’s Volleyball Cup in Vietnam.

Choco Mucho paid tribute to Ferrer in its farewell announcement on Friday.
“To our steady setter and quiet leader, thank you, Jem Ferrer,” the team wrote.
“From being a 3-time UAAP Best Setter to helping lead the Flying Titans to PVL and VTV Cup podium finishes, you gave this team your heart every step of the way. Thank you for every perfect set and every unforgettable moment.”

Albeit held to limited minutes, Ferrer served as one of Choco Mucho’s stabilizing veterans, providing leadership and experience to a team that steadily grew into a consistent contender in the PVL.
Her departure now leaves the Flying Titans with Deanna Wong, Alina Bicar and Tia Andaya composing the team’s setter rotation moving forward.
Ferrer’s exit also marks the first notable offseason roster move for Choco Mucho heading into the next PVL season following a lowly seventh-place finish in the All-Filipino Conference.
