UTILITY hitter-turned-setter Jasmin Nabor admitted her confidence level with her new role for the National University team has risen along with the rousing start of the Lady Bulldogs in the Shakey's V-League.
In fact, the former opposite hitter for the Philippine team in the Asian Women U-19 Volleyball Championship has fully embraced her transformation that she's fixed on being NU's setter.
“Mas kailangan po ako ng team dito (as setter),” she added.
After being with the national team for almost a month, Nabor admitted she was still rusty in the Bulldogs first V-League Collegiate outing against San Sebastian last week.
Tapos hindi po ako nakakafocus dun as a setter, tapos ‘yung first game namin isang beses lang po ako nakapagtraining as a setter,” Nabor said.
Now back with her school team, Nabor shared that she's motivated further to excel as a setter since NU is on a perfect 2-0 start in its bid to defend its V-League Collegiate Conference crown.
