TOO little, too late?
Jaja Santiago rejoined her Premier Volleyball League (PVL) club Chery Tiggo Crossovers a day before their All-Filipino Conference bronze medal series against the Petro Gazz Angels.
But will she make a rather last-gasp return for a shot at a podium finish?

The Crossovers didn’t provide any confirmation on Santiago’s playing status for Thursday’s battle for third opener.
However, as part of Chery Tiggo’s original 20-woman roster submitted prior to the start of the season, Santiago is eligible to still play this conference should she and the team decide to do so.

“Welcome back, Jaja! Literally and figuratively a huge source of inspiration for the CHERY fam as we battle for the bronze starting tomorrow. We missed you and we thank you for being with us today,” the Crossovers wrote on Wednesday.
The former PVL MVP returned to the Philippines following her first-ever seniors call-up with the Japanese national team, the world’s ninth-ranked women’s volleyball team, amid talks on a prospective naturalization bid.
Her inclusion in Japan’s training pool came after a silver medal stint, best spiker and best blocker nods and an All-Tournament Team selection with JT Marvelous in the 2023-24 season.
