MORE players are headed out the door for Nxled, with Jaja Maraguinot the latest to part ways with the Chameleons this offseason.
The 25-year-old playmaker is set to leave the Akari stable and suit up elsewhere for the first time in her three-year PVL career.
The younger sister of fellow Ateneo ace Jho Maraguinot, Jaja began her pro journey with Akari during the Chargers’ PVL debut in 2022.
Two years later, she became part of a controversial sister-team mega trade that saw both players and coaches shuffled between Akari and Nxled — regarded as the last deal of its kind in the league.

Maraguinot went on to log more than a year with the Chameleons before her exit, a move widely viewed as part of a sweeping roster overhaul amid reports of a potential merger.
Prior to Maraguinot’s departure, Nxled had already parted ways with key mainstays Lycha Ebon, Rachel Jorvina, Jaila Atienza and Maji Mangulabnan, along with the retirement of veteran May Luna-Lumahan.

Further changes are expected in the coming days as Nxled braces for the biggest offseason shakeup in its two-year franchise history, with a retooled Petro Gazz core widely rumored to be the other half in a possible joining of forces.
