GALERIES Tower offloaded three more players since the surprise exit of its veteran captain Alyssa Eroa.

This time, newcomer Jho Maraguinot and veteran mainstays Roma Joy Doromal and Renee Mabilangan have all parted ways with the Highrisers.
The biggest shock comes in Maraguinot after playing less than a conference’s worth of game time with Galeries Tower since her departure from Nxled.
It wasn’t until the Highrisers’ third game of the conference in which the former Chameleon saw action for her new team.
She’d go on to play nine matches and normed 6.78 points (61 total points) with a 25.7 percent spiking success rate.
Maraguinot was surprisingly missing from the Highrisers’ roster in their qualifying-round upset of Cignal and in both games of their two-game quarterfinals series loss to Akari.
It would mark a brief and dismal stint in teal for the former Ateneo standout.
Doromal, Mabilangan also released
Two of the team’s longest-serving players were also dropped by the Highrisers in Doromal and Mabilangan.
Doromal, older sister of Capital1 libero Roma Mae, was part of Galeries Tower’s inaugural PVL squad back in the 2023 PVL Second All-Filipino Conference where they finished in 11th place.
Come their sophomore campaign, the Highrisers signed former National U playmaker Mabilangan who has since taken turns with Alas Pilipinas setter Julia Coronel on the taraflex.
As far as roster sizes go, Galeries Tower is down to 14 players for the time being following the conclusion of its best campaign yet where it copped an eighth-place finish.
Just like last year, the two-year-old PVL team has secured at least a top four pick in the 2025 PVL Draft for a chance to replenish its depleted core with fresh and up-and-coming talent.
