GALERIES Tower capped off one of the most sweeping rebuilds of the PVL offseason by bringing in 14 new players ahead of the 2026 season.

The Highrisers’ overhaul began with a near-total roster reset, as the club parted ways with 13 players and retained only four holdovers in Julia Coronel, Jean Asis, Roselle Baliton and Winnie Bedaña.

A major shakeup also took place on the bench, with PVL champion coach Godfrey Okumu and his staff exiting to make way for veteran tactician Aying Esteban.

Esteban’s new coaching group features a strong University of Santo Tomas backbone in longtime deputy John Abella, JM Millado, Emman Dedoroy, Lorence Cruz and physical therapist Migs Dizon.

On Tuesday, Galeries Tower unveiled what it described as its final batch of signings in Jules Samonte, Gayle Pascual, Venice Puzon and Maji Mangulabnan.

Samonte is looking to restart her career after injury-hit stints with Chery Tiggo and PLDT, while former NCAA standouts Pascual and Puzon seek expanded roles following limited action with ZUS Coffee and a brief MPVA stop with Pasay, respectively.

Mangulabnan, meanwhile, brings familiarity after setting for both Akari squads over the past two years.

Headlining the entire haul is veteran spiker Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, their most high-profile acquisition in two years as a franchise and in the league.

She is joined by Shola Alvarez, Sharya Ancheta, Cams Victoria, Dolly Verzosa, Erika Deloria, Lycha Ebon, Erika Raagas, Blove Barbon and Julia Angeles as the Highrisers complete their facelift ahead of the January 31 opening of the 2026 All-Filipino Conference.
