LERMA Giron has parted ways with Galeries Tower.
The Highrisers penned their parting note to Giron on Friday.
“Your time with the Highrisers has been filled with lessons, discipline, and passion that shaped us into a stronger team,” the club wrote.

“We’re grateful for the dedication you poured into every training, every game, and every player who wore the jersey.

“As we move forward into a new chapter, we carry the values and hustle you instilled in us. This isn’t goodbye, it’s a thank you for being part of our journey.”
Giron was Galeries Tower’s first and only head coach since it joined the PVL in 2023. In five conferences at the helm, she had a 5-44 win-loss record.
Rising soon
Earlier this year, however, she steered the Highrisers to their biggest breakthrough by reaching the quarterfinals for the first time in the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.
They lost back-to-back five-set matches to Akari in their playoffs debut, but they still wound up with their best finish in franchise history at eighth place.
Giron's final tour of duty as Galeries Tower shot-caller was a winless five-game stretch in the 2025 On Tour.
Her successor and the team’s soon-to-be second head coach has yet to be named.
This development leaves the PVL with just one active female head coach in the Chargers' Tina Salak.
