THE Indonesian men's basketball team will now be handled by a man so familiar to Philippine basketball.
Rajko Toroman disclosed he's now head coach of the Indonesia team currently preparing for the 30th Southeast Asian Games to be held in the country from Nov. 30 to Dec. 11.
The Serbian coach is currently in the country to assist the Mighty Sports team set to compete in the annual Jones Cup in Taipei set next month.
"I will handle the Indonesian team to the SEA Games so I'll be here a lot more times," said the coach of the original Smart Gilas team on Wednesday while watching the PBA Commissioner's Cup game between NorthPort and Phoenix at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Toroman was chosen over Brian Rowson for the coaching job.
