CREAMLINE can clinch a spot in the 2026 PVL Invitational finals on Friday, with a win over streaking EST Cola enough to seal the Cool Smashers’ place in the Top 2 regardless of what happens in their final preliminary-round assignment against PLDT two days later.
A fourth straight victory would put Creamline at 4-0, while four teams are already sitting at 1-2 at the halfway mark of eliminations.
That means the Cool Smashers would be mathematically assured of finishing no worse than second should they get past the Thai club, making Sunday's showdown with the defending champion High Speed Hitters irrelevant to their finals qualification.

Creamline remains the tournament's lone unbeaten team, although its perfect record was tested in a five-set escape against Farm Fresh.

Second-seeded EST Cola, however, is arriving with plenty of momentum after putting together a two-game winning streak, sweeping the Foxies before pulling off a stunning five-set comeback at the expense of Nxled.
Hence, the stakes are clear for the Cool Smashers, as they chase a record-extending 16th finals appearance - and, more importantly, a 12th title.
