AFTER three veteran signings, PLDT banked on an up-and-coming talent in former Far Eastern University (FEU) standout Shiela Kiseo.
The High Speed Hitters welcomed their newest — and youngest — acquisition to date in the 23-year-old outside spiker on Saturday morning.

"Infusing a veteran-laden team with young blood starts now. From green and gold to fiery red, outside hitter Shiela Kiseo is pumped up to play with the PLDT High Speed Hitters and prove she belongs. Ready to play all-around volleyball with you, Shiela! Let's go," the club wrote.

In what has now become her final act with the Lady Tamaraws back in UAAP Season 85, Kiseo was an integral piece to FEU's offense alongside incoming captain Chenie Tagaod in their fifth-place finish — four wins shy of a Final Four spot with a 6-8 (win-loss) record.
This time, she'll be joining a PLDT side that also finished fifth in last year's season-ending All-Filipino Conference but was only a win away from reaching the semifinals at 7-4.
In her forthcoming pro league debut, Kiseo will team up with veteran attackers in Kianna Dy and Savannah Davison in a month's time when the 2024 PVL season hits the ground running.
