A day after the league released airtight guidelines for prospective national team players, the two-team stable owned by Frank Lao pledged each of Farm Fresh and ZUS Coffee's first and second-round picks to Alas Pilipinas.
The announcement re-affirmed SGA’s commitment to aligning its clubs with the national team, especially at a time when player availability continues to be a concern for Alas.

Lao's stable also committed to financially supporting the drafted players throughout their national team tenure leading up to the Philippine-hosted 2029 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championships.
“SGA will cover all salaries, allowances, and incentives of the drafted ZUS Coffee and Farm Fresh players while they are in service of Alas Pilipinas, until the conclusion of the 2029 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship,” the statement said.
“SGA fully recognizes the magnitude of this once-in-a-lifetime event and reaffirms its commitment, alongside the rest of the Philippine volleyball community, to leave no stone unturned in ensuring the success of the country’s hosting.”
