NO more jitters this time for Farm Fresh.

The Foxies steadied themselves after early nerves and turned it into a stunning 25-23, 18-25, 25-19, 25-23 win over PLDT in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference semifinals on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Trisha Tubu manned a late 7-1 run that steered Farm Fresh clear of PLDT’s five-set bid.

She scored five of her 28-point outburst in that game-clinching run, capped by a crosscourt hit that kept the Foxies in the hunt for a maiden finals berth.

It was the Foxies’ first-ever franchise win over PLDT after seven straight losses since entering the league in 2023.

More importantly, it marked Farm Fresh’s biggest victory of the conference so far, as it finally got back at a PLDT side that had beaten them twice in both the preliminary and qualifying rounds.

Ces Molina put up 12 points and nine digs, backing Royse Tubino's double-double of 10 points and 15 receptions as Farm Fresh's three-headed giant wreaked havoc.

"Sinabi na sa amin ni Coach [Koji Tsuzurabara], 'wag namin bigyan ng pressure 'yung sarili namin kasi mas may hinahabol si PLDT kaysa sa amin," said Molina.

"Kung bibigyan kami ng chance, talagang i-grab namin 'yun. Ito 'yung chance talaga na never namin bibitawan at hindi ibibigay sa iba," Tubu added.

That potent scoring threat was made possible by Alohi Robins-Hardy's 20 excellent sets and two markers.

Fresher and fiercer

Farm Fresh nearly let the opening set slip after a string of errors erased five set points from a 24-19 lead, only to be bailed out by a net fault on Kianna Dy.

PLDT answered with authority in the second, riding a 5-1 start and capitalizing on a Mylene Paat attack error to even things up.

The Foxies then took full control in the third, building a lead as big as nine at 22-13 to seize the upper hand again, eventually fending off a PLDT side that was once three points away from sudden death in Set 4.

Kianna Dy's 20-point game went for naught, as well as Savi Davison's 18-point, 13-reception double-double and Alleiah Malaluan's 17-point, 14-dig outing.

Not even 27 excellent sets from Kim Fajardo could save the High Speed Hitters from falilng on the brink of being booted out from championship contention.
