FARM Fresh isn’t done with adding new players to its squad as it signed ex-Capital1 middle blocker Des Clemente.

The former Solar Spiker, 30, became the league’s first post-draft acquisition as all 12 teams begin finalizing their rosters for the upcoming PVL on Tour in roughly a week’s time.

Clemente previously played for defunct F2 Logistics and Petro Gazz before being taken by Capital1 under former head coach Roger Gorayeb.
The six-foot defender was once feted as the league’s second best middle blocker back in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference when all eyes were on Capital1’s history-making Russian import Marina Tushova.
New beginnings for Des
Now comes a new beginning for Clemente as she stands alongside the Foxies’ mainstay middle blockers in Lorene Toring and Rizza Cruz.
Farm Fresh’s pursuit of building a frontline fortress received a much-needed boost as it drafted 6-foot-1 Fil-American playmaker Alohi Robins-Hardy with the third overall pick.

Also among the Foxies’ draft night selections was former Far Eastern University libero Ann Monares at No. 16 to join veteran floor general Jheck Dionela.
The Foxies will begin their PVL on Tour run against PLDT on July 1 at the Playtime Filoil Centre in San Juan.
There, Farm Fresh has its sights set on turning the page from a dismal 10th place finish in the recently-concluded 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
