F2 Logistics delivered a fine display against a gutsy Cignal side, 25-20, 30-28, 23-25, 25-22, for its second win of the 2023 Premier Volleyball Invitational Conference on Saturday at the FilOil EcoOil Arena.
F2 Logistics vs Cignal 2023 PVL Invitational Conference recap
Despite vintage displays from Cignal vets Rachel Daquis and Jovelyn Gonzaga, F2's youthful dynamism and veteran composure prevailed in the pivotal breaks of the game.
And it was Kianna Dy who ran the show for the Cargo Movers on offense with a game-high 23-point production on 20 attacks and three blocks.
"We all know Cignal is a strong team so we had to double our efforts pa and since mahahaba yung rallies, kailangan patay agad talaga [ng bola]," Dy said.
"All the teams really stepped up so we also had to step up with double efforts. May mga bago din kaming [rookies] sa loob so we had to guide them din," she added.

After escaping a nip-and-tuck second frame by the skin of their teeth, the HD Spikers dug deep and fought hard to deny the Cargo Movers an easy sweep.
But in the end, three straight points for Ivy Lacsina (14 points) capped by a game-winning block iced a red-hot battle in the fourth set.
Although Ces Molina unleashed 21 markers on top of Daquis' 13 and Riri Meneses' 10, Cignal's gallant stand fell short as it drops to 1-1 (win-loss) record ahead of the 10-day Volleyball Nations League break.
F2 aims to produce a three-game win streak over also unbeaten Choco Mucho, while Cignal looks to recover against Foton when the PVL resumes action on July 11 at the PhilSports Arena.
