ERIKA Santos has parted ways with PLDT after three years with the team.
The 25-year-old winger from La Salle penned her farewell note to the High Speed Hitters on social media on Monday.
“After three unforgettable years representing PLDT, the time has come for me to turn the page and embrace a new chapter. I’ve been honored to compete alongside incredible teammates and guided by dedicated coaches,” Santos wrote.
“I’m excited for what lies ahead, yet I know I’ll deeply miss our morning gym and practices, our pre-game kulitans, and the simple joy of working toward a shared dream.”

While Fil-Canadian winger Savi Davison carried the scoring load for PLDT, Santos emerged as a capable second option in the recently-concluded 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
She ranked 13th overall in the league with 134 points (12.18 pts per game) and finished fourth in the spiking department with a 34.74 percent success rate.
This leaves PLDT with the returning Kianna Dy as its lone option for a possible opposite spiker upon completing over a year’s worth of rehabilitation from an undisclosed knee injury.
Completing the rest of the team’s core on offense are young guns Kiesha Bedonia and Shiela Kiseo along with veteran wingers Fiola Ceballos and Jovy Prado.
