IT is what is for a Choco Mucho team that just can’t seem to catch a break over the last few months.
Personnel problems, in every way possible, have plagued the Flying Titans’ recent campaigns.
From national team duties to longstanding injuries, Choco Mucho would always be undermanned and had to make the most of who they have at their disposal.
It even resulted to a franchise-worst ninth-place finish in last season’s Reinforced Conference where they missed the knockout playoffs by a single spot.
Losing one of its last two pioneers in Japan-bound Maddie Madayag was the biggest blow dealt to the team even before the season started, coinciding with the sought-after comebacks of Sisi Rondina, Cherry Nunag, and Des Cheng.
They’d also be one veteran setter short as Deanna Wong has been ruled out for at least the next month as she recovers from a nagging knee injury.
Adapt and conquer
Choco Mucho head coach Dante Alinsunurin knows at this point that they can only accept the cards they’ve been dealt.
From there, whatever happens, happens.
