EJ Laure began her Nxled stint with a straight-sets loss.
But it won’t dampen her hopes of what the winless Chameleons can still achieve moving forward.

Laure last saw action in the PVL with Chery Tiggo in the 2024 All-Filipino Conference in May.
It turned out to be her last conference with the team as she sat out the import-laden tournament with nagging shoulder problems.
Just as the new PVL season went underway, she moved to Nxled — a team facing a six-month dry spell of 13 straight defeats.
On her part, Laure is pleased to have set foot on the volleyball taraflex again with a foreign coach in Italian mentor Ettore Guidetti at the helm.
Her Nxled debut took place days after the reveal of her wedding in March with former child star Bugoy Carino.

Eager to make the most of her PVL comeback, Laure shared how she’s been juggling wedding preparations and training with her new team.
