NATIONAL University secured at least a playoff for a semifinal berth after it clobbered College of St. Benilde, 25-19, 25-21, 25-18, on Sunday in the V-League Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan.
Guest player and former NU skipper Dindin Santiago-Manabat scored 13 points, while Jaja Santiago and Myla Pablo added 11 markers apiece.
The Lady Bulldogs now carry a 4-1 card, sharing second spot with University of Santo Tomas behind unbeaten early semifinalist Ateneo (5-0).
The Lady Bulldogs needed an hour and 17 minutes to take the win, but could have finished it earlier had they limited their errors.
