BALIPURE looks to reassert its supremacy and Customs hopes to prove its previous win was no fluke as the Transformers and Water Defenders collide in the decider for a finals berth in the V-League on Wednesday at at Philsports Arena in Pasig.
The Transformers finally scored their first win over the Water Defenders in the conference, a four-set victory that forced the decider in the best-of-three series.
It was a big breakthrough for Customs after losing back-to-back straight-set matches to BaliPure.
The match starts at 6 p.m. to be aired live on ABS-CBN Sports + Action Channel 23.
Alyssa Valdez firing 27 hits on Monday and is again expected to lead the way for Customs, while American import Katherine Morrell, who had 19 points, tries to do better and carry BaliPure to the title series of the tournament backed by Mikasa and Accel
Balipure also hopes to get more from Amy Ahomiro, who struggled with just five hits in the second match.
The opener of the best-of-three finals is set on Saturday.
