CREAMLINE overcame Pocari Sweat, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 15-9, to move a step closer to the semifinals of the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference at the Ibalong Centrum and Recreation in Legazpi City.
Alyssa Valdez and Jema Galanza combined for 37 hits for the Cool Smashers, who improved to 8-2 at the No. 2 spot.
Michelle Gumabao and Risa Sato backed them up with 16 and 13 markers, respectively, for Creamline.
Myla Pablo put in a game-high 22 points while Del Palomata and Jeanette Panaga combined for 28 points for Pocari Sweat, which remained at the No. 5 spot with a 5-6 win-loss record.
