CREAMLINE survived a third-set scare to beat ZUS Coffee, 25-19, 16-25, 26-24, 25-17, and remain unbeaten in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference Siklab series on Saturday at the Playtime Filoil Centre.
After splitting the first two sets, the Cool Smashers found themselves in danger of falling behind when the Thunderbelles took a 23-22 lead in the third frame.

But Alyssa Valdez and Pangs Panaga came through with two crucial blocks to help Creamline escape the tight finish and regain control of the match.
The Cool Smashers then made sure there would be no repeat of the third-set drama, building a lead of as many as nine points in the fourth to put away from ZUS Coffee and improve to 3-0 in the preseason series.
"Talagang nu'ng second set, medyo hindi naging maganda 'yung serve-receive namin, pero lagi naman naming sinasabi na sa every situation kailangan meron tayong pambawi at meron tayong solution sa lahat ng nangyayari," said Creamline head coach Sherwin Meneses.
Bernadeth Pons led Creamline with 16 points and 14 receptions, providing a steady presence on both ends of the floor. Panaga also delivered a strong performance in the middle, finishing with 15 points, including four blocks that helped stifle the Thunderbelles' attack.
Tots Carlos chipped in 10 points, while Jia de Guzman orchestrated the Cool Smashers' offense with 17 excellent sets.
ZUS Coffee, meanwhile, remained winless after three outings despite getting solid production from its middle blockers. Zam Nolasco paced the Thunderbelles with 16 points, while Nicole Ong added 12 in the losing effort.
ZUS Coffee slipped to 0-3 in the Siklab series.
