CREAMLINE made short work of Choco Mucho in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference as it smashed its rivals straight sets, 25-16, 25-19, 31-29, on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
Erica Staunton led the way for the Cool Smashers with 19 points on 17 attacks while Bernadeth Pons added 12 markers as they improved to 5-2 for the tournament.
Dindin Santiago-Manabat led the way for the now 2-5 Flying Titans with 10, but she was the only player for Choco Mucho who breached double-digits as import Zoi Faki was limited to seven anew.
At 2-5, Choco Mucho will have to wait for Farm Fresh's prelims finale versus unbeaten league leader Akari.
The result also sent defending champion Petro Gazz and sophomore team Capital1 to the knockout quarterfinals.
