THE dynasty continues.
Creamline clinched its eighth Premier Volleyball League (PVL) title, overcoming sister team Choco Mucho in a thrilling encounter, 20-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-22, 15-11, in Game Two of the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference Finals, witnessed by a crowd of 23,162 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.

Finals MVP Jema Galanza rose to the occasion with 20 points, achieved through 20 successful attacks and 16 excellent receptions. Bernadeth Pons contributed 17 points, while Tots Carlos added 16 points. Bea de Leon sealed the victory with a decisive game-winning hit, tallying seven points for the Cool Smashers.

"Sobrang happy lang ako kung saan gaano kalaki na yung grinow ng bawat isa sa'min. Hindi madali. Sobrang hirap talaga kasi minsan gumigising kami sa umaga na 'aabot ba tayo?' pero alam lang namin na sa mga susunod pang mga laban namin, sa mga susunod na championship, alam namin na kaya naming lumaban," said Galanza.
"Ito talaga, pagsubok talaga sa'min 'to. Sinubok talaga kami ng conference na 'to and sana marami kaming natutunan."
Marking their 10th appearance in the PVL Finals within the last 11 conferences, the Cool Smashers join the ranks of only three teams to secure the championship as the No. 4 seed, following in the footsteps of University of the Philippines (2018 Collegiate Conference) and Balipure (2017 Reinforced Conference).
Creamline's dominance is unparalleled, as the Cool Smashers remain the only team to reach the title series in every conference they've participated in, with the 2024 season-opening conference now their 14th consecutive Finals appearance.

Head coach Sherwin Meneses, who took over from the esteemed Tai Bundit in 2022, Creamline has now claimed his fifth PVL crown.
