CREAMLINE boosted its buildup for the Premier Volleyball League by tapping former Oregon State spiker Laura Schaudt as one of its two imports for the coming Reinforced Conference beginning on April 30.
The 6-foot-5 Schaudt will make her debut in the league formerly known as the Shakey’s V-League after playing five years for Oregon State, including a stint in the US NCAA women’s volleyball tournament Sweet 16 in 2014.
“She will be a big addition to our team and we hope we'll do good this coming PVL conference," said Creamline team manager Sherwin Malonzo in a statement.
Schaudt will be joined by Alyssa Valdez, who will be suiting up for the Cool Smashers after a stint with 3BB Nakornnont in the Thailand league.
Other members of the team coached by Tai Bundit with Olivar Almadro as his lieutenant are Coleen Bravo, Francesca Racraquin, Pau Soriano, Joyce Palad, Ivy Remulla, Aerieal Patnongon, Janet Serafica, and Jamela Suyat.
In her final year with Oregon State, Schaudt was one of five players on the team to have at least 100 kills. She had 10 in a tournament match that propelled her school to the round-of-16 of the NCAA in 2014.
