CREAMLINE has won 168 of its 204 all-time PVL matches since the league’s inaugural season in 2017.

Its 82.35 percent winning rate is the highest by any team that has ever set foot in the league.

Not to mention, the Cool Smashers are also the league’s most decorated team with 10 titles, the only Grand Slam-winning team in the sport, and now the holder of the three longest win streaks in PVL history.

They once won an unprecedented 25 straight games from 2019 to 2021, highlighted by a 20-game title-winning sweep of the 2019 PVL Open Conference.

It would be followed by a 19-game unbeaten run — the PVL’s second-longest win streak — that ran from 2023 to 2024.

Creamline has also taken control of the ongoing 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference in which its 8-0 start has been an extension of what is now an 18-game win streak since last year’s Reinforced Conference back in August.

Between now and the end of the PVL’s longest-ever conference to date, the Cool Smashers can play a maximum of 15 more matches — more than enough to secure at least eight straight wins to break their own all-time record.

Such historic feats are made possible by the leadership of team captain Alyssa Valdez, who continues to push the team forward, hungrier than ever, even after all the successes they’ve had over the last eight years.

“Every day, we’re reminded that we have to work harder. We didn’t know about the streak, well I didn’t at least,” Creamline newcomer Bea de Leon said.

“Coming into every game, it’s as if we fight for a championship. Kailangan namin talaga makuha as much as possible every game.”

Through years of glory and perseverance, an unrivaled winning tradition was born — and one de Leon isn’t ever taking for granted.

“(The desire to win) is very innate din. Culture thing siya, especially with ate Ly establishing it na we keep on going and we keep on learning,” de Leon said.

“Nakaka-motivate din ‘yun on my part na makita kasi despite all the greatness they’ve already done, it’s still one hundred percent all in as if hindi pa sila nananalo before.”

“Kahit ano pang naabot na namin, there’s always room for more.”
