Not even an early set deficit could faze the Cool Smashers who kept their championship-caliber grace under pressure to close out the series in two games.

Bea de Leon delivered a 14-point performance built on seven attacks, two aces and a staggering five-block output.

"Coming into the game gusto ko lang talaga magawa yung role ko. I knew it’s gonna be hard, I wasn’t really scoring a lot, but really, really, really make sure na makatulong ako sa team, and ma-secure namin yung panalo," BDL said.

The MVP connection was strong for Creamline as Bernadeth Pons took over on offense with an 18-point, 15-reception double-double along with of a strong 14-piece from Tots Carlos.

"Hindi kami pwedeng maging complacent and pinahirapan talaga nila kami bawat puntos so thankful lang din na naipanalo namin ‘yung game ngayon," Pons added.

In an eight-year period since, the Cool Smashers won an unprecedented 10 championships, three silver medals and three third-place finishes.

This also marks Creamline’s 15th consecutive playoff victory in 18 months which has now spanned five conferences since 2023.

Chery Tiggo crashes out of contention

Despite drawing first blood in their do-or-die game, the error-plagued Crossovers just couldn't find their groove in the endgame as they gifted Creamline one too many errors and a 17th straight semis trip.

Seth Rodriguez paced Chery Tiggo’s loss that sent them packing with 16 points alongside leading scorer Cess Robles' 14 markers.

A near triple-double from Shaya Adorador, who fired seven points, 16 receptions and 12 digs, went for naught as the Crossovers miss out on the semis for the third time in the last five conferences.
