Creamline-Choco Mucho clash relocated to Araneta Coliseum

THE first Creamline vs. Choco Mucho out-of-town match since the PVL turned pro in 2021 will have to wait.

As per the league’s latest bulletin, the final day of the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference single-round robin semifinals will now be on Apr. 3, Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The semis-ending double-header featuring Petro Gazz vs. Akari and the ‘Rebisco Clasico’ was initially scheduled to take place at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

It would’ve been the second Antipolo match of the semifinals following Saturday’s semis opener headlined by longtime title rivals Cool Smashers and Angels preceded by Chargers and Flying Titans.

Meanwhile, day two of semis action will still be on Tuesday, Apr. 1 at the Philsports Arena.

Taking the Pasig venue that day will be Akari and Creamline followed by Choco Mucho and Petro Gazz.

The top two teams at the end of semis play will advance to the best-of-three finals, while the bottom two will be relegated to the battle for third.

In the event of a tie for No. 2, a knockout game will take place on Apr. 5 at the Philsports Arena.
