WITH the first group stage over, the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference is set to move into a high-stakes second half of preliminary round action.
The crossover format means the top three teams from Pool A will face the bottom three from Pool B, and vice versa.

This time, teams from the same pool in the first round will no longer play each other in the second round but their respective win-loss records will still carry over.
- POOL C: ZUS Coffee (B1), Creamline (B2), Akari (B3) | Choco Mucho (A4), Cignal (A5), NXLED (A6)
- POOL D: PLDT (A1), Farm Fresh (A2), Capital1 (A3) | Petro Gazz (B4), Chery Tiggo EV (B5), Galeries Tower (B6)
Headlining the resumption of pool play is a marquee matchup between sister teams Creamline and Choco Mucho, as a potentially decisive 'Rebisco Clasico' will highlight Pool C.

Joining them in the group are unbeaten league leader ZUS Coffee, along with Akari, Cignal, and Nxled.
Over in Pool D, three PVL champions — including the last two titleholders, Petro Gazz and PLDT — will look to cement their playoff positions in their final three preliminary matches.
In-form sides Capital1 and Farm Fresh aim to play spoiler in that pool, joined by struggling Chery Tiggo EV and winless Galeries Tower.
Overall Top 8 teams advance
Traditionally, group stages end with the top two or three teams from each pool advancing to the next round.
However, this year’s format is different: the eight teams with the best overall records — regardless of pool — will move on to the knockout quarterfinals.
As it stands, here’s how the combined league table looks before Round 2 begins:
