CREAMLINE extended its perfect start with a 25-21, 25-20, 25-21 sweep over erstwhile unbeaten PLDT on Thursday to seal a place in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference semifinals at the PhilSports Arena.
Tots Carlos led the way with 22 points off 17 attacks, three aces, and two blocks as the Cool Smashers joined foreign guest teams Kurashiki Ablaze of Japan and Vietnam's Kinh Bac Bac Ninh in the next round.

Creamline has yet to drop a single set in its 3-0 (win-loss) start.
"We're really happy na kumbaga, may advantage na kami [na nakapasok na] sa susunod na stage pero 'yun nga, marami pa kaming kailangan i-improve," Carlos said.
"Medyo marami pa rin kaming basic errors like 'yung mga bolang hindi namin nadedepensahan. Nara-rattle pa rin kami minsan pero 'yun din kasi 'yung advantage namin sa team na mararamdaman mo talagang suportado ka ng bawat isa," she added.

PLDT kept pace with Creamline all-match long but was set back by Jovy Prado's foot injury late in Set 2 which saw her stretchered off the court.
The Cool Smashers' Big Three went to work to finish the match off as Jema Galanza and Alyssa Valdez dropped 12 and 11 markers each to back up Carlos.
Meann Mendrez, who only started in the third and final set, was the lone High Speed Hitter in double figures with 10.
Creamline meets Akari next while third-seed PLDT continues its fight for semis qualification on Saturday.
