The Cool Smashers lost to the Taipei side in their elimination-round face but surprisingly dominated KingWhale in all departments when it mattered most.
Galanza and Carlos carried the load on offense with a combined 43 kills against Taipei's 30 while Alyssa Valdez and Ced Domingo each had two of the Cool Smashers' seven aces against the Taiwanese's one.
Domingo had more block points than the entire KingWhale side with four against the opponents' three, as she finished with 11 points enroute to her first Finals MVP plum.
