CREAMLINE cruised to its third straight win of the season, making quick work of Galeries Tower, 25-22, 25-17, 25-15, in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the PhilSports Arena.
Kyle Negrito orchestrated 18 excellent sets as reigning best opposite spiker Michele Gumabao topscored for the Cool Smashers with 10 markers.

"We’re very happy sa performance nga and we’re very proud of everyone who played today. But 'yun, sinasabi din sa'min nila Coach (Sherwin Meneses) na we can’t be too complacent din talaga most especially kahit Galeries (Tower) 'yung kalaban din namin," said Creamline captain Alyssa Valdez who pitched in eight attack points.

"Kailangan may respect and nandun parin 'yung aggressiveness namin. Marami pa rin kaming nakita lapses in today’s game so si coach na 'yung bahala sa'min."
The defending champions waxed hot with an early 8-1 start prior to a 24-17 edge, which the Highrisers nearly overturned after five straight points — most of which aided by nine of Creamline's 17 unforced errors.
But in the two closing sets, Creamline head coach Sherwin Meneses' decision to add variation to its in-game rotation saw Gumabao and 10 other Cool Smashers land on the scoresheets with 45 combined attacks in just three sets.
Ysa Jimenez' 11 markers paced the Highrisers' third loss in as many games as the defending champions tallied their 18th straight victory dating back to their unbeaten title run in last year's season-ending All-Filipino Conference.
