AS far as Ateneo skipper Michelle Morente is concerned, the Lady Eagles are itching to get payback against Technological Institute of the Philippines when they face off for the last quarterfinals berth from Group A in the Shakey's V-League Season 13 Collegiate Conference on Monday.
The Lady Eagles fell in the hands of the Lady Engineers in five sets, 24-26, 25-14, 21-25, 25-18, 12-15, in their opening match. Morente says they are hungry for some vengeance.
“Siguro, yeah, (motivated kami) kasi natalo from them last time so siguro ito na ‘yung comeback namin sa kanila at mapakita namin talaga kung anong kaya naming gawin,” said Lady Eagles skipper Morente.
But the incoming third year spiker also noted they won’t be too hard on themselves.
“Iniisip naman naman namin one game at a time, wala talagang pressure, for experience lang talaga. Kung saan kami maabot ng panalo namin eh ‘di hanggang doon,” she said.
“So habang nananalo kami, go lang, laro lang kami, maging masaya kami sa loob ng court, as in wala talagang pressure,” she added.
Ateneo and TIP are currently tied at the last spot with 2-2 win-loss record.
