CIGNAL gave two-time UAAP champion libero Pearl Denura a new lease on life after going undrafted over a week ago in the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft.
Denura was announced as a free agent signing for the HD Spikers during the contract-signing event for the team’s sixth and 18th picks in ex-National U captain Erin Pangilinan and La Salle’s Jessa Ordiales.

Cignal’s first-ever draft pick last year in Ishie Lalongisip also signed a long-term extension with the club.
“Good time to try out itong mga bata and new draftees namin sa PVL On Tour,” said Cignal head coach Shaq delos Santos.
“We're confident to say na we want them to be here long-term and hopefully maging part ng aming long-coveted championship. Sana makuha namin eventually.”
The 4-foot-8 libero was part of the Lady Bulldogs’ historic 16-game tournament sweep in UAAP Season 84 and their eventual title-reclamation run in Season 86.
Nearly two years later, she’ll be reunited with Pangilinan in trading blue-and-gold for red in the pro ranks.
Denura will also complete the Lady Bulldogs’ 2025 draft class along with Pangilinan, first overall pick Bella Belen (Capital1), and No. 12 pick Sheena Toring (Creamline).
With the exception of Alas Pilipinas players like Belen as it stands, Denura and Pangilinan are on line for their pro league debuts with Cignal in the PVL on Tour against Akari on Jun. 22 in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.
