CIGNAL jammed Nxled’s last-gasp 11-1 run in the third set to complete a 25-21, 25-17, 25-21 sweep in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the PhilSports Arena.
Rose Doria helped stretched the HD Spikers’ unbeaten run to three games with her 10 attack points on a 43-percent efficiency.

"Mixed yung nararamdaman ko eh. Unang-una, thankful kasi siyempre, nakuha namin 'yung game ng three sets. To be honest, maganda naman 'yung performance ng team, especially nung starting six namin," said Cignal head coach Shaq delos Santos.
"Medyo naging shaky lang nung nagpalit ng tao pero good thing naka-recover kami."

Gel Cayuna's 21 excellent sets paired with Dawn Macandili-Catindig's 19 digs gave Cignal the cutting edge outside strong scoring displays from Doria and captain Ces Molina (14 points).
However, a huge chunk of the HD Spikers' 21 unforced errors came in the third set which prompted an 11-1 Nxled run from 10-23 down.
Sans new ace spiker Ivy Lacsina, whose left knee drew contact with teammate Dani Ravena early in Set 3, it was Jho Maraguinot who manned the Chameleons' offense and tospcored with 11 markers on 10 attacks and one block.
Maraguinot's lone net rejection was also Nxled's only block point of the match, paving the way for 48 attacks from the HD Spikers to remain unbeaten before facing fellow 3-0 (win-less) side Choco Mucho in a week's time.
