CIGNAL is mulling legal action on what it described as a 'material breach of player contracts' by Ces Molina and Riri Meneses.
The pair's agency, Avior Talent Management, released a statement on Thursday morning announcing the players' departures from the HD Spikers after three years.

In its response, Cignal confirmed receiving a formal letter from Avior on Jan. 6 seeking to 'end their live contract extension' to explore playing opportunities abroad.

And because their contracts already expired by year's end, both players expectedly were no-shows in the HD Spikers' return to training after a lengthy holiday break.
"We are currently consulting our legal team to determine all possible courses of action regarding this material breach of both players' contracts," said Cignal in its statement on Thursday evening.
It remains uncertain whether the ex-Cignal duo will pursue potential overseas stints or explore their options with other PVL teams, such as Akari, Nxled, Capital1, Farm Fresh and ZUS Coffee which have all shown interest in their services.
