CIGNAL’s rebuild is in full swing with a major addition to its scoring front in ex-PLDT winger Erika Santos.
The former La Salle ace parted ways with the High Speed Hitters shortly after the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League last April to cap a three-year, four-season stint.

Her final PVL campaign with PLDT in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference saw her land sixth among the league’s opposite spikers with a 32.84 percent success rate.

She was also the league’s 17th leading scorer with 161 points (14.64 per game).
After backing PLDT’s Fil-Canadian hotshot Savi Davison on offense over the past few months, Santos is taking the next step forward with an HD Spikers team in need of new pieces to bolster its depleted core.
“Sana madala ko ‘yung napakita ko this past season here [sa Cignal] and I'm also looking to improve more under our coaches and trainers dito," said Santos.
"Kahit na red uniform pa rin, it's a new chapter in my career now so I'm looking forward to it and helping this team reach the heights they really want which is the PVL championship.”

16-strong HD Spikers
As it stands, Cignal now has 16 players in its roster after signing Santos as its fourth free-agent addition in the offseason.
Among the HD Spikers’ cast of newcomers are veteran wingers Tin Tiamzon and Heather Guino-o along with champion middle blocker Ethan Arce.
Cignal head coach Shaq delos Santos has high hopes for what Santos and the rest of the retooled HD Spikers can bring to the table whent the 2025 PVL season resumes later this year.
"We need some more experience kasi sa team naming to, and sana yun mga years ni Erika with La Salle and PLDT, na-gain na nya yun mga kelangan nya na kelangan din namin sa team na to ngayon, which is scoring," said delos Santos.

"Hopefully she can make an impact agad dito samin and I'm planning to have her start dito sa Cignal."
The HD Spikers continue to add new pieces to the 16-strong roster to back their core of mainstays led by Alas Pilipinas stars Dawn Catindig, Vanie Gandler and incoming PVL sophomore Ishie Lalongisip.
