EXPECT an all-out war from Choco Mucho when it competes in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference.
The second franchise from the Rebisco family vowed to leave a good and lasting impression in its league debut and promised not to back down against decorated sister team Creamline.
Choco Mucho head coach Oliver Almadro said Alyssa Valdez-led Creamline can expect a tough fight from his team.
“There will not be a sibling rivalry because we are sister teams but of course, we will play hard,” said the outspoken mentor on Thursday during the press launch at Joy-Nostalg Hotel in Pasig City.
Former Ateneo stars Bea de Leon, Maddie Madayag, Kat Tolentino and Kim Gequillana will lead the Flying Titans when they compete in the tournament opening on August 11.
Dianne Ticar of Iriga-Navy and Cindy Imbo of Perpetual Help; Gyra Barroga, Bang Pineda, Shang Berte, Shanen Palec, Arianna Angustia, Dancel Dusaran and Erika Alkuino of United Volleyball Club; AC Masangkay of Cignal; and Carla Sandoval of Foton round out the lineup.

“We will be better than our best everyday in every training and every match,” Almandro said. “Expect that come game time, it will be war. Titans eh, we'll be true to our name. We will be as passionate as ever pagdating sa games.”
Aside from two-time PVL champion Creamline, the Flying Titans will be going up against reigning PVL Reinforced Conference titlist PetroGazz, mainstays BaliPure, Motolite, Pacific Town-Army, BanKo Perlas, rookie team Chef Classic and returning Philippine Air Force.
